I loved the location because it was a short walk from the main beach and the restaurants and shops. I loved the front desk reception people, they helped us book activities and were always finding ways to make our stay better! There is also a beautiful and delicious italian restaurant on the property as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

A calm area away from the crowds yet only a few minutes walk to the busy waterfront strip. We loved our stay at Ca GIOgio Apartment it’s a very spacious well planned fully equipped apartment, we really had all the equipment needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable, the black out curtains helped keep the apartment cool we didn’t need to use the air conditioner but it was there if we needed it. The shower was large and the water pressure was great. Kitchen was a joy to use along with the clothes washing machine. Nice sitting room had good light with lots of windows. The entry and hallways of the entire building is well maintained and a pleasure to use. In the surrounding area are grocery shops, city markets , local restaurants and across the street a hospital. Amazing white sandy beach with delicious seafood restaurants, bars of all price points reachable by foot 5 minutes. Our highlight was visiting the Pier to watch the fishing boats bring in their catch along with local artists selling a variety of interesting crafts. The Island has a nice local culture and it was really special to mingle with the local friendly Cabo Verdians and support their businesses. Thank you for your hospitality.

On the contrary, the host, Mrs. Lafayette, is a hostess with a big heart, one that has space for all her guests. She personally welcomes each one and gives them her full attention. She is very communicative and kind. Her life story gives her a broad perspective and an acceptance of people. Visiting her hotel is like visiting a grandmother you haven’t seen in a long time; she is so happy to see you and makes sure everyone feels great. Breakfast with her is an experience, enriched by getting to know the other guests.

Right from the start, the hosts were super friendly and welcoming, and the place just has a great feel. The apartment is comfy, has nice furniture, and all the appliances you need. There was also a nice welcome pack waiting for us with water, tea, and other little things. And if you like to read, there's a shelf with books in different languages. The garden area is beautiful and kept really clean, with lots of palm trees and plants. Our kids loved the pool. It's a great spot to relax, with sun loungers and a warm shower to rinse off the chlorine. The pool is lit up at night, what is really nice. The location is good, just a short walk to the coast. The beach nearby is really good. A big plus is that, unlike the main town beach, there are no big rocks in the water, so it's perfect for swimming. We were also really happy about having power and internet that actually worked the whole time, some cafes and mini shops nearby were helpful . Overall, we had a great time. The comfy apartment, pretty garden, and amazing hosts make this a perfect spot. We'd 100% recommend it.
