The breakfast was wonderful , vegan diet catered for with a fruit salad. The staff were always pleasant and answered any questions. The rooms were a cool place to get away from the city heat so you can enjoy going out later in the day. The spa with jacuzzi and sauna was relaxing. The location was perfect. A fabulous experience for the whole family!
Amazing place, heaven on earth. Breakfast is ok. Bread was not that good, but it is hard to find good one in hotels in Italy. Good choices for dinner although the restaurant is not the best in the region, but nice if you want to stay in (restaurant rate 7.5/10). Amazing spa (indoor heated pool), amazing massages. You must take a day or two just to enjoy the pool and relax on the premises.
Everything. The staff was incredibly kind, the premises clean and our room very spacious. Since it was raining when we arrived, we tried the little sauna and the relax area. If you Iove healthy and biological food, you’ll find the breakfast here amazing: home made bread, cakes, marmalades and eggs. Last but not least: the locally produced EV olive oil.
The room is beautiful with a decent size. The bathroom is also nice. I like the fact we had a 3x separate glass shelves in the bathroom to put our cosmetics- My partner enjoyed using the coffee machine and coffee capsules. It rained heavily on my first day and was so grateful to be able to use the Spa. The spa area is great. Was able to use the jacuzzi, sauna, steamed room as well as having bed lounges area to relax. Hot tea available in the Spa was a nice touch. The receptionist was helpful as well as the breakfast and Spa staffs.
A truly unforgettable few days- incredible views of the idyllic countryside from our room windows and from the thermal pools, really excellent massages , comfortable and spacious beds , beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were welcoming and did their utmost to make our stay special, including upgrading our room on check in which was a lovely surprise. The food was excellent and the thermal pools and saunas unbeatable for relaxation
Everything!! Cristina and her daughter (and fam) have thought of everything - every detail! The decor, amenities, finishing touches just blew me away. It’s paradise. And my goodness - the breakfast (best omelette ever), their service is just a trillion cuts above!! The wellness area and the hot tub was amazing -!we enjoyed a beautiful cheese plate and vino before relaxing in the hot tub amongst the Tuscan hills - incredible! And staying in a castle - SERIOUSLY amazing!
Ideal for a relaxing stay in an isolated location. The pool was great for a warm summer afternoon and the spa was a nice addition to our stay - including jacuzzi, sauna and turkish bath.
Wonderful palace in a great spot right at the beginning of the old town Colle Val d’Elsa, which merits a full day visit on its own. Good starting point for Siena, Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and the Chianti region with its beautiful hills and wineries. There’s a spa associated with the hotel for which guests have a discount. it was a nice relaxing evening in a large water massaging pool, sauna, steam room, water massage showers and relaxation area.
