The two Tourist Bus Routes were well worth doing.
The two Tourist Bus Routes were well worth doing. I would recommend doing one route each day (approx 2hrs) & hop on & off to have a look around. I would definitely book the “Big” attractions when you book your holiday, so that you get to see the places on a day/time to suit you + they sell out! A really interesting city well worth walking off grid & seeing the back streets etc. For the men who love their beer rather than larger, there are good Irish Bars. I would recommend going to some of the back street, family run restaurants where the food is really delicious & more authentic.

Buzzy city, lots of do, great shopping, lovely food and drink. stayed in the Gothic quarter which was very old but very lively ( in a pleasant way) Pleasantly surprised about how reasonably priced it was for a major city. Large beer €6, cappuccino €2.50 , tapas ranged from €6 . Book Park Guell in advance, we didn’t and it was sold out. Metro easy to use. We bought a 3 day pass which also covered back to the airport. Not all tickets do. Felt very safe, lots of warnings about pick pockets but we were just very careful . Beaches are good, but we went further round from Barcelonetta.

Barcelona is a great tourist destination, we saw a few things, but that is the way I like it, instead of a packed "see it all itinerary", I prefer taking it easy and seeing just a few things and allowing for discovery. The markets were great and interesting and the prices were reasonable. We did the Cathedral Tour and the Maritime museum. Great museum.

The food and the historical monuments. The ambiance.
The food and the historical monuments. The ambiance. Not first timers here in Barcelona. Although there are a lot of artsy stuff around, we feel that the city has deteriorated in terms of cleanliness. Lots of tags and graffitis. Overflowing trash cans.

Barcelona is a beautiful city with much to offer!
Barcelona is a beautiful city with much to offer! I wish we could’ve stayed longer! In just two days we visited the balloon museum, Parc Guel, Casa Battlo, and Sagrada Família. We ate at Le Romane, and Segrada Tapas. There are many local bakeries, gelatarias nearby that are good worth trying. The local transit is also amazing!

Everything! If you want true, real experience of Barcelona, this is the right place for you. It's located in the city center, and yet, in the very interesting street which is the part of the Raval. The rooms were super clean and cozy, the breakfast was amazing and the stuff was superb. If I can, I would give this hotel 11. Definitely worth the prize.
The hotel is located in very good place, near beach, near street where you can eat everything, near metro station and if you really like to walk only half hour is enough to be in the center. My kids loved breakfast. My friends are coming to Barcelona this summer and I would recommend them this hotel, beacuse it has good value fir price.
Perfect location in the city center that allows to take Aerobus for quick and cheap ride from the airport right to the doors of the hotel! One thing that amazed me in the hotel was the coworking area - very nice and comfortable with fast internet.
The staff were very kind and helpful and gave a lot of attention and information I asked for, hotel very clean and breakfast excellent. Rate is good compared to other hotels in Barcelona. Transportation to city center are reachable
Clean rooms. A little too far out from Barcelona city center for the full weekend experience, the area itself does not have so much to offer. However easy to get into city center with the tram line close to the hotel.
