The feeling overcomes us when we are travelling, discovering new things and feeling arrived at the same time. So what could be better than being on vacation and feeling at home at the same time?

Dedication, quality and attention to detail are our values. They were in focus at any time when the holiday apartment was extensively renovated and completely furnished in 2020. In the design of every single square metre there is an infinite amount of thought and consideration with the aim of making the feeling of "daheim im hirschen" an experience for every guest. All furnishings have been carefully selected. From the butter dish to the kitchen unit to the last floor lamp. Quite a few pieces are unique, designed and built especially for the holiday apartment.

Schönwald is located in the heart of the Black Forest, in the midst of the most beautiful nature. The health resort with its delicate climate is situated 1000 meters above sea level. The community is part of the "Ferienland Schwarzwald", a tourist association of various Black Forest communities. Sports enthusiasts get their money's worth in every season. In summer, for example, you can go hiking, mountain biking or touring with a racing bike. In winter, there is variety on 200 km of cross-country skiing trails, tobogganing or on the ski slopes. In addition, Schönwald offers a public indoor swimming pool, a solar-heated natural outdoor pool and miniature golf. The real golf sticks can be used in a well-kept facility in the village. On rainy days various museums in the region attract visitors.
