The character of the place was great, having kept the vault door in the bedroom made it really unique. The decor in the lobby and the historical artefacts of Oamaru was really interesting. The breakfast concept also suited us very well. All in all, it’s a very well designed boutique hotel with very nice and attentive staff. Definitely worth the stop.

Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. It’s interesting to sleep in such a famous place. Hotel is renovated and clean. We had a delicious dinner, and no matter that the restaurant was full, they have table for us as guests.
