Busy, buzzing , friendly city with cool waterfront. Lots going on, great food options. Good transport links to airport by bus and to Volos/ Athens by train…& into mountains to see waterfalls at Edessa by train. Loved this place, very different from staying on the islands. Nice view of Mount Olympus across bay and easy access to see flamingo lagoon by bus.

Thessaloniki is an easily accessible city either by foot or the 90 cents bus rides. A great vibe from the large student population with cafe or bars on nearly every corner. Meals at any levels are good value for money with both traditional Greek food and modern cuisine available. Plenty to see within the city with museums or locations - easy to venture further a field if desired. Note this is a city break and not a beach holiday. Beaches are at least 35 minutes out of the city via transport. However, it was still easy to find places to relax within the city and you are never too far from the sea. The highlights were definitely the market and the Archaeological Museum but there are plenty of ancient landmarks to find throughout the streets.

Great city to chill and enjoy street art, modern art and great architecture. Also, the food was amazing everywhere and the possibility to walk by the sea is always a good addition to a relaxing vacation. I believe this city would be perfect for a 4 days trip and then explore the other cities nearby.

Nice city, vibrant.
Nice city, vibrant. Shopping is ok for those who like it though prices are not that low. Nice museums and friendly people. Public transportation is great. Good starting place for those would like to explore the surroundings - Olympus, Meteora and other villages.
+ The hotel is located in a very quiet and green area of Thessaloniki, very close to the airport, but far from the city center.
+ The rooms are huge (even the smallest ones), seem recently renovated and are well equiped.
+ The view from our room was pretty much 100% nature, which was very relaxing.
+ Beds are huge also and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our sleep.
+ Staff was super friendly and accomodating.
+ Free shuttle bus to/from the airport was a big bonus.
We had a wonderful experience! The hotel and the staff were great! We were welcomed with vouchers for the bar and an upgrade of the room. Our room was big and with sea view. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had different choices and we could ask from the bar our favorite Freddo Cappuccino! The hotel is in the city center right on the shopping street! We couldn't ask for a better stay in Thessaloniki!
It was one of the best rooms/hotels we have booked through booking.com. The apartment had everything we wanted and was newly renovated. Location is great, quiet neighbourhood yet close to the city centre. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. We even tried the breakfast for one day of our stays and it was really good, considering the covid circumstances.
ON Residence is a 5 star boutique hotel located on the main strip of Thessaloniki overlooking the sea. It is designed in opulence and luxurious 1920 grand era style. Buffet breakfast has a large range of fresh and local produce. The rooms are very comfortable and have all amenities. If you are looking for luxury and personal service ON Residence is for you.
In one of the best parts of Thessaloniki. Keep in mind if you are late to checkin (after 18h) you have to pick up your key card form the "main" colors hotel which is very close (2 streets). The hotel is nice, clean, pet friendly, has everything that you need. Keep in mind it's in the busy part of the city, so closed windows, or street noise, that's
I wood rate this hotel as good for 4 stars- altough at a similar price there are 5 starts hotels in the area .The rooms were modern, but very small and with windows opening to walls....Also- the entire hotel had a weird ' oldish ' smell .I loved the a la carte breakfast which was indeed very nice and with quality products
Close but not in the city center. Easy ro reach other areas, like airport and Kalamaria. Hotel had some parking positions which was good considering the parking problem of Thessaloniki. Spacious room with design. Welcome bottles of water were provided.Very nice bar close to the hotel, at the folklore museum garden
The hotel was great. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The neighborhood adjacent to the hotel wasn't the greatest and we probably wouldn't walk around there at night. But it's a quick cab ride to Thessaloniki's downtown.
Plenty of free parking on the street.
it’s a real 5 star hotel! looks beautiful and the service is on that level. it is close to the port and all the sightseeing spots! we really enjoyed it! my favorite thing is the glass floor in the breakfast room under which you can see ancient ruins! AMAZING!
The property looks very appealing from the outside! Inside is is also nice, but I wouldn’t give it 5 stars if I was comparing it to some of the 5 star hotels in Australia. The parking was convenient. The breakfast had a good variety.
Excellent location, two minutes walk from the city center, in the traditional area of Ladadika and exactly on the port front. Sea view, magnificent breakfast, nice fully renovated rooms. A must-stay hotel in Thessaloniki
Everything was on niveu ..looks like and it is 4 stars hotel ..was some small things..which j will not mean to say for now .. worth for money.special thanks for bell boy Angelo 5 star service thanks Angelo.
Spacious and very comfortable rooms, very friendly staff.. Excellent breakfast, I strongly advice this hotel for family’s traveling with kids. Will be our first pick in Thessaloniki next time..
The hotel, the breakfast, the parking (yes, great, no stress), the cleaness, the room design and size, the beds...
Stayed here before, used to be my favorite in Thessaloniki.
A fine hotel, overlooking the sea and close by the main attractions of Thessaloniki.
Very comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, good wifi. Breakfast was very good.
Fantastic location. Very clean, super polite and professional staff. Excellent experience at City Hotel. I recommend it to everyone who wants to enjoy Thessaloniki! :)
