Found next to Hardangervidda mountain plateau and only 2 km from Geilo Train Station, this ski-in ski-out hotel offers lodge-style guest rooms, free Wi-Fi and comprehensive spa and fitness facilities.... Everything. The location, perfect for skiing (right across the slopes and the equipment rentals), the pool with the slide and the hot tub and the fitness center. Dinner at the restaurant was also great with the waiters being super nice as was the personnel at the front desk . The Breakfast buffet was varied, fresh and well organized.

Overlooking the Tisleifjord, Oset Fjellhotell is 1.5 km from Golsfjellet Ski Centre. It offers traditional Norwegian cuisine as well as a kids playroom, gym and indoor pool. Wi-Fi is free in all... Food was very good, especially the dinner buffet with lots of choice, all of high quality. Everything was spotlessly clean and most of the staff were very friendly. The room was very big indeed.

This hotel opened in May 2010. It is right next to Bjørneparken Shopping Centre and 5 minutes’ drive from Vassfaret Bear Park. Storefjell Resort Hotel is located next to Storefjell Ski and Sledging Centre, only 20 km from central Gol. Guests can enjoy free private parking and access to the pool, gym and sauna access. Nice room with a view, nice spa, really good breakfast, free parking. Staff was very friendly.

Located right at the edge, 1002 meters above sea level, is Skarsnuten Hotel. The hotel has a panoramic view of Hemsedal and with Hemsedal ski center as the nearest neighbor. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! It was sooo luxurious! The views are unreal and it’s by far the best hotel in Hemsedal! The breakfast was lovely, the rooms are nice and the spa is so relaxing after a day skiing, we used it most days on our 1 week holiday! I would 100% recommend this hotel! I would suggest having a car if staying at this hotel though as we ate in the town most nights and I can imagine taxis aren’t cheap!

All guest rooms at Hotel Dr. The hotel is a fantastic place for a family vacation. We've thoroughly enjoyed and continued discovering hotel's little treasures, such as the library, the bowling alley, the shuffleboard in the Sports bar, the board games (with no pieces missing!!), the spa. The staff was friendly and professional. After many years of skiing in the Alps, skiing in Geilo was a positive surprise - excellent slopes and no crowds.
