The bedrooms were so clean, spacious, cosy, and modern. The beds were so unbelievably comfortable! The staff were so welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make you comfortable. The food was exceptional! Would highly recommend it to anyone, we'll definitely be going back!

Set in Dalton in Furness, 35 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Red Lion Rooms - Self Check In offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The inn features family rooms. Lovely rooms and great facilities. Would recommend a visit to the brown cow for a meal, very friendly staff and food was amazing.

The Crown and Cushion Appleby is situated in the market square in the centre of Appleby and features a restaurant, tea-room and bar. Very spacious and clean. The bedrooms were huge. Nice new bathroom. Separate lounge with sofa and dining table. Location was excellent, right in the middle of Appleby, but the apartment was very quiet.

Built around 1590 as a miner's cottage known as 'Dove Cottage', The Langstrath Country Inn is a small family-run property offering accommodation in Stonethwaite. Parking is available. Amazing location, very friendly staff and super food. With many just having a drink after walking the fells, we felt quite privileged to be staying here

Located in Barrow-in-Furness, Ormsgill Inn features free WiFi access and free private parking. Guests can enjoy a drink at the on-site bar, as well as the pool table and darts board. Absolutely everything. We cannot fault this property and highly recommend it. The location, the facilities, the breakfast and the staff are excellent. It was by far the best B&B we stayed in during our whole trip.

It is beyond beautiful. The room was gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and approachable. I am very much looking forward to staying there again!

Set in Farlam, 15 km from Thirlwall Castle, The Belted Will Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything was excellent. Attention to detail was great, enough milk for a few cups of tea not just one, biscuits, mints, enough towels and shower accessories. Staff really friendly, evening meal and breakfast of very high quality. Really enjoyed our stay.

Situated in Levens, 18 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

The location and the service are superb, the owners were so very sweet and helpful even despite us arriving late they still offered us dinner and helped us out with the cycling It’s a great location to stay incase you’re hiking Scaffel Pike Couldn’t recommend the place more
