I had a wonderful stay at Pipi's. You can really tell the place is loved. The food was wonderful and genorous and the cocktail was delicious. Wifi worked well in my room and everything was clean and well organized. They helped arrange a collectivo to the caldiera and made me feel very welcomed as a solo traveler. It's very close to the airport and you can walk there in 7 mins.There is a sign on the left as you leave the parking area about 100 m. The road is basic so keep an eye out for the sign so you don't miss it.

Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.

I was pleasantly surprised the room was equipped with 110v and 220v electricity outlets. The breakfast in the morning was a great selection of fresh cut fruits, homemade breads, cold cereal, eggs made-to-order, sliced cheeses, and fresh local breakfast drinks. The restaurant was open every hour we needed it to be. It was overall, I very pleasant hotel experience.

Cruzeiro Guest House is a recently renovated guest house in São Filipe near Sao Filipe Beach. The guest house also offers facilities for disabled guests. Having a room towards the sea... just great. Sunset on the balcony. View towards Brava island. Breakfast on the top terrace... nice, but rather simple (well, fresh Papaya were super!). Nice people at the reception... no word in english... but we understood each other perfectly ! Reservation and payment without any problems. They sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up.
