The owner welcomed me friendly and introduced me good Gwangju food and restaurants (strongly recommend 떡갈비/Korean beef hamburg steak at 세송정/Saesongjeong, a local famous restaurant just 5 minutes walk from the guesthouse). The room is clean, tidy, and bright, with all basic facilities. Access to the guest house is very convenient about 15 minutes walk from the Songjeong KTX station and 10 minutes walk from the Subway Songjeong Park Station. Gwangju Madrid Hotel beschikt over een businesscentrum en ligt op slechts 3 minuten lopen van het Kwangju Songjeong KTX-station met lijn 1. In alle kamers is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Everything in the room was super clean. The room was really spacious, and the bed a bath tub were both huge. That made the stay super relaxing. The TV has access to Netflix and YouTube, so that was a nice addition. All toiletries you could need were provided as well as a few complimentary refreshments.

Overlooking 5.18 Freedom Park, Holiday Inn Gwangju is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Gwangju Airport. Prior to the Holiday Inn I stayed at a 4-star hotel in Seoul and a 3-star in Suwon, and based on the overall experience this is my favourite hotel to date!🤩 The staff were friendly and informative upon check-in, the room was superb and had everything I needed and more. It was the only hotel I've stayed in so far that has face cloths (flannels). I loved the art work and self-playing piano in the lobby, as well as the available eateries. So impressed with this hotel!

Urban Stay Hotel bevindt zich in Gwangju, op 4 km van Hannam Industrial Complex, en heeft kamers met airconditioning. The guy at the reception was expecting me so there was no explanation from my side needed. He was quick with the check-in process too. The room was well-equipped which left me super impressed.

Hotel SUMMIT ligt in Gwangju, op 3,9 km van Hannam Industrial Complex, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Het hotel is geweldig, er werd zelfs plek gecreëerd voor onze huurauto, de ligging is fantastisch en het personeel uitermate vriendelijk. Helaas ontstond er een leiding breuk precies in het plafond van mijn badkamer. Hier kan niemand wat aan doen en na een uurtje buiten de kamer te hebben moeten verblijven kreeg ik voor de laatste uurtjes een nadere kamer. Inmiddels is de huur teruggestort en alles piek fijn afgehandeld. Zelfs mijn reisgenoot die alleen wateroverlast in de gang ondervond is gecompenseerd.
