David went above and beyond to make my and other guests stays as perfect as possible—something thats crucial in a place like this. From restaurant advice to arranging tours to helping with transport onwards, his expertise really helped to make sure I had a fulfilling place in this, one of the most interesting places in the world.

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city centre, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodation. The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.
