Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on the board . The staff was extremely friendly, Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the general manager who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!Would definitely send a friend there.

Jayantha and his wife made sure that they made our stay memorable inspite of checking in at 1130 pm. The following morning they made sure we had our teas and coffes and was also kind enough to drive us to the airport. Another great example of ari lankan hospitality. We only stayed here about 12 hours but my parents totally loved it and loved the hospitality. The building is exceptionally well maintained for being over 100 years old with all the bathrooms upgraded with a modern contemporary minimalist feel with open spaces and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Less than a 3 min drive to the airport, please stay here on your way into and out of colombo especially if a long journey awaits you. Highly recommended. 5/5!!

Really enjoyed my stay here for what it was. I only stayed a couple hours overnight as I was travelling on to Galle, but the staff made sure everything was as welcoming and hospitable as humanly possible. The guy I spoke to (I forget his name unfortunately) was super friendly and did his absolute best to help me out with anything and everything I asked about. Absolutely coming back here, would definitely recommend.

The staff were amazingly friendly, sharing their food and knowledge, they were so helpful and warm, so much so I extended my stay. The pool was in a perfect setting with lots of different birds singing in the beautiful gardens. They upgraded me from a 6 bed dorm to a 2 bed shared room. They are in the middle of doing little fixes but this really didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Thank you for a wonderful stay. If I come to this airport again I will definitely be back, for longer this time!
