As there is so much to see on the lake I took 2 trips , it’s an amazing place , full of daily activity from fishermen casting there nets to people tending the floating gardens and given the current political situation there are very few tourists . Their are no security issues in the area ,it is open and waiting to be discovered . The town has many hotels standing empty , when the situation improves you are likely to regret not having visited when Inle lake was at its purist .
