Good location, but not in Nelson (the location is actually Stoke). The restaurant next door at the Honest Lawyer was great, and our dinner at the Brick Eatery was terrific.

Located in Nelson, 5.1 miles from Christ Church Cathedral, The Honest Lawyer, Ascend Hotel Collection has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One incident was that I dirty my shoes at a muddy beach and the staff kindly let me use a large cleaning sink to clean my shoes. Thank you and much appreciated. The location was very good with beautiful scenery - high and low tides right before your eyes. The room was vintage style, cosy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Our family of 7 had dinner in the hotel restaurant - excellent! Highly recommend this hotel to visitors coming to the Nelson area.

Centrally located between Nelson and Richmond, Greens Motel offers self-contained studios and apartments with kitchenette facilities and a patio or balcony. The apartments were very clean and well looked after., the owners were really friendly and helpful and the location was great for exploring Nelson and nearby areas by car. It was also great value for money.

Studio on Parkers is located in Nelson, just a 16-minute walk from Tahunanui Beach and 3.5 miles from Christ Church Cathedral. Light, airy, modern space with large bathroom, microwave, small fridge, and sink. We especially liked how clean and private it was and the special touches. Airplanes fly overhead, but we were not bothered, since the airport didn't operate during the night.
