The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The location was stunning, with a headland walk close by with views out over Cook Straight. Very handy for the airport if needed. Lovely breakfast and the room was well kitted out with some nice added extras like milk and biscuits.

U Suites on Rongatai Road was fantastic. We booked quite last minute as our flight had been cancelled and we needed somewhere close to the airport to stay for the evening. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. We were close to a bus line that went straight into the city so that we could explore before our flight left the next day. It was also close to a bus stop that the airport express bus also stopped at. Very pleased :-)

Nestled in Kilbirnie, Brentwood Hotel offer spacious accommodation only 2.6 km from Wellington Airport and 10 minutes’ drive from Wellington’s CBD. The room was really large and the room service breakfast was reasonable in price and delicious. The staff was really nice. It is an older hotel and the furnishings though clean and comfortable are not fancy. There was no air conditioning, but that is not uncommon for New Zealand and the windows opened and gave a nice breeze.
