Large bedrooms, great architecture & well decorated. Great view from the living room. João & Carlos were very helpful during my stay & the communication was easy. João picked me up on the port on the day of my arrival and later that day showed me a very considerable part of the island. The breakfast was good.

Located in Queimada, Quinta dos Dragoeiros - RRAL Nº3452 offers accommodation with a private pool, a balcony and sea views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The hosts Lina and Rui are the most warm and accommodating people, it felt like we stayed with family. The views from the dining room every morning watching to see if we could spot some dolphins while we ate breakfast was one of a kind. The location was great as we were 3 minutes from the airport but we didn't have to drive down a mountain to get to the house. We loved sitting by the pool, either in the sun or under the pool house roof. Lina makes sure everything is spotless each day. This was such an enjoyable stay!

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. The large sliding glass doors allowed for exceptional views looking over Velas and the surrounding mountains from every room. Breakfast was the typical buffet style. All in all This a great place to stay in São Jorge.

Hotel Os Moinhos is located in São Jorge Island, with views over the highest mountain in Portugal, sited in nearby Pico Island. the grounds and views were amazing! nicely kept hotel rooms too.

Cabanas da Viscondessa is offering accommodation in Urzelina. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This accommodation is one of many reasons why I am looking forward to coming back to São Jorge. We could see that it was important to Jorge to present the place in a good light and it was indeed a very pleasant experience to be there. Everything was great and I have no regrets about choosing Cabanas da Viscondessa for our stay.
