We could use the sauna and the spa area after a long and exhausting train ride. The room was really spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. I can only recommend staying there!

What a fabulous location!! Amazing views of the lake from the kitchen, the lounge and the bedroom. Big glass windows and comfortable sofas made our time here worth every moment. Even the midnight sunset was visible across the lake right from the lawn in front. Comfortable beds, clean linen and spotless house overall. The kitchen had all the equipment one needs. A lot of attention to details everywhere.

The spacious vacation home of Bart, is the perfect choice for an uncomplicated and enjoyable vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle...), even sharp knives are available in various sizes. A large double-door refrigerator with freezer drawers makes stocking up easy. Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are also on site. The stove (firewood provided) and heat pump heater (can also be used as an air conditioner) work perfectly. Bart is very friendly and gives expert advice and information on excursions. Documents are also available in the house. We would book this house again without a moment's hesitation - thanks Bart!

Taiga Forest Lodge býður upp á gistingu í Gällivare með garði, verönd, grillaðstöðu, ókeypis WiFi og garðútsýni. This property is absolutely beautiful and in such a remote but stunning setting. Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.
