Featuring tastefully decorated rooms with views of Lake Sirsjön. this hotel offers a restaurant, a gallery and crafts shops. Torsby is a 5-minute drive away. We were on our way to Sälen and needed a stop. We were met by a very kind and professional staff. The rooms were spacious, clean and we had a nice view of a lake nearby. In the evening we had a dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. We had to leave before the serving of breakfast. Then the staff made some sandwiches to us for the early morning travel.

Hotel Björnidet is located on Stora Torget Square in Torsby, 650 metres from Torsby Train Station. It offers light rooms with private bathrooms, TV and free Wi-Fi. I think this hotel is quite underrated. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, good breakfast with a lot of variety. I had a great time and would definitely go again.
