We visited before new year's eve, there was some noise from the bars across the street, but we had no problem falling asleep, just close the window and it's fine. Our room had an open kitchen with pots, utensils, oil, salt and basic cooking tools, and even has a dishwasher. But there was no ventilator so if you cook, the smoke will get in your clothes.
