I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

We stayed for New Years and the view of the fireworks from the balcony was out of this world. But the best thing about the property is the host Sarah, she’s such fun and was so easy to communicate with during our stay.

I think the name of the guy in the reception was named Hugo. He was excelent, and the welcome we got from Vera at the breakfast was also very Good. The location was also really Good. We brought an 8 months old baby and there was no problem getting around.
