The Gems Suites hotel is a very nice & super clean located in a calm street! We received a spacious and beautiful room with A/C, balcony, fridge, kettle and even an electric cooking plate. The staff was always present and ready to help in anything hotel offered us a pick up from train station that was extremely convenient taking into consideration determination tuc tuc drivers there! I am eternally grateful to Salim and Yunus (transport company members) who helped me when I lost my back pack in the train, took me to the police station and then even drove in the middle of the night to Ajmer to pick it up. Thank you so much! Salim is a boss of trusted travel company in Jaipur which works with the hotel, organizes tours in the region and beyond. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back! Found this place on Booking.com at midnight because none of the other 3 star properties were upto standard and they all felt like lodges instead of hotels. Took a chance since we were exhausted and we booked this place thinking that we'd inspect the place first and then check-in or goto a 5 star property in the end if we didn't like this one too (there was no booking amount charged yet). The place is a few meters inside from the main road but when we checked out the rooms, they were really good and the view of the fort from the room itself was spectacular. What won us over was the service that we received right from the moment we checked in. It was too late in the night with all restaurants closed in the vicinity but Abhishek offered us some fruit and freshly cooked snacks so that we didn't goto sleep hungry. Abhishek and his team is small and they've just started hosting clients for the past few months but the service and hospitality is comparable to a 5 star hotel. The view from the rooftop is great and you can enjoy your evening snacks, dinner on the roof with an amazing view of the entire fort. The place currently has very few reviews but I believe each and everyone is a genuine one. Give them a try when in Jaisalmer and thank me later!!

Spacious modern clean accommodation, hosts are supportive and friendly, they even took us out one night to a local festival, and invited us to their festive breakfast, all of which enabled us to have a deeper cultural experience. They also helped us with motorbike rental. We enjoyed it so much that we extended for a further week. We also felt welcomed by the locals in the neighbourhood. Alongside Candy, the family puppy who is so sweet. Lovely sunrise from roof terrace in the morning 🌄 would recommend... Great value for money and very much enjoyed.
