We stayed in a two bedroom lodge which was beautifully designed and built. The location was so peaceful, with a stunning view, and the owner was really friendly & helpful. Of all the places we stayed in Montenegro on our road trip, this was by far my favourite accommodation. If you follow the host's directions and come along the road from the north there is only 5 mins driving on non-tarmac road, which was easy enough in our Dacia Duster. Definitely opt for the home-cooked breakfast and dinner, so lovely.

The room is tastefully furnished; bathroom is modern with a new shower and everything in perfect order (in contrast with what we saw in other properties in Montenegro). We could not dream of better place to spend holidays in te mountains!

They enjoyed the garden of the property and all the toys at their disposal. It is well done, well decorated, and feels authentic (kids were thrilled to see the neighbor's cows). Staff is welcoming and we felt immediately home. When asking for a restaurant, we were told that a neighbor can cook dinner and breakfast, which was delicious.

Max is set in Kolašin. The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Everything!! The beds were really comfy, it had everything we needed to cook etc. Kolasin is a beautiful little place. The owner Diana is an absolute superstar. She was so kind and helpful. We can't wait to come back again, hopefully there is a little more snow next time 🙂
