This place has it all. Location (on the town square and 100 meters from the railroad dock), clean/spacious/well appointed rooms(totally remodeled in 2020). But the best part was our host, Tom. He was incredibly cordial and accommodating. And his quaint bar is very comfortable and appears to be the the locals hangout. If you are lucky enough to get a room at I da Mitt, you're in for a real treat!

The view was fabulous, and it was so nice to have a balcony to take it in. A little pricey, but great for the area.

One word. Perfect. Friendly owners that never stopped helping and guiding us around the area. The room was incredibly clean, comfy and quiet. Last but not least the spectacular view outside the balcony. I enjoyed every bit of my stay with no qualms to return again.

Pension is on a fantastic location, just in the middle of the town. It's on the lake level, so easy to reach from everywhere. Few steps away from the center, close to every single shop and restaurants. Wooden interior design is very cute and beautiful, providing the local lakeside/mountain house vibes. There was a small kitchen in the room, even though I don't cook, it was a huge plus. Also there are additional tea and coffee counters on the hallway. Tamara is a wonderful host, she was extremely helpful for any information about Hallstatt, all her restaurant suggestions turned out to be great! Lovely host for the loveliest place. Plus they have a nice breakfast/cafe place on the lakeside south of town which is wonderful for seeing the town in a panoramic view. Pension has a lift so it is perfect for elders and for those who are having problems with stairs or elevations. (but be aware there is a small 1 step stair on the floors)
