Almost everything was equal or better than expected. We had read the other glowing reviews before booking, but the breakfast is really exceptional. Cleanliness and comfort was perfect. Beautiful French oceanside-themed room, simple but elegant. Quiet. Great view of the ocean. The owner was very friendly and attentive. They have a stocked games room with pool table, board games, various teas and coffee, a large screen TV and various DVDs. Would be a good place to stay with family or friends. Short drive to Chemainus, beach and various outdoor activities.
