We loved just about everything at 'La Maison Tamarin' - we expected it to be good, based on the reviews we had read, however it exceeded even these expectations! Romain and Emilie are extremely pleasant and helpful, and the location just superb for anything you might want to do in and around the Basque coast. We had a lovely mountain-facing room, which was the epitomy of good taste and cleanliness, the breakfasts were super... really too much to list and can't wait to go back in the coming months. The warmth of the hosts is omnipresent in this b&b. Going from the wonderful top floor accessible room upto the breakfast. The latter was a unique setting at one large table convivially with other guests allowing to exchange experiences while trying the abondance of food and drinks that came with a personal touch (ao egg/cake/jam) while also getting some tips for local trips (restaurants/car park) and even some history provided by the host. A place where we felt very welcome and would hope to be able to return one day.
