The location was excellent, sea views across the bay from the rooms were amazing. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. The rooms were beautiful, nice and clean and had all that we needed.

The room was comfortable, warm and freshly renovated. Check-in and out was easy, and the hosts communicated brilliantly. The location was great. Able to get down to the beach quickly; 10 - 15 minutes walk (we walk quickly...)--albeit there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate, but you have to come up the hill if you want to get anywhere at all from the beach, so it's unavoidable. I'm sure you can easily get a taxi back up if necessary.

Beautiful location with room overlooking Carbis bay. Room was clean, modern, spacious with a very comfy bed and a lovely shower. But above all, it was Ally and Rowan who went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable and pleasant. Really thoughtful and considerate hosts. Would definitely stay again and recommend if visiting St.Ives.

We enjoyed staying at Thurlestone House very much indeed for the 10 nights we were there. John and Linda could not have made us more welcome and were a fountain of knowledge both on the local area and wider Cornwall so were always willing to help with travel advice and where to go and what to see. The room was very comfortable, quiet and a nice size for the two of us. Breakfasts were very good indeed with a wide choice and always served with a smile. We would have no hesitation in staying at Thurlestone House again when next in the St Ives area.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing, wide selection of everything I’m used to eat just like when I’m home. Great location within short walk from the beach and train station. Very close to the nearest grocery store and also not far from Tesco. Nice warm rooms, since the weather during our stay wasn’t very much in our favor. Really appreciate Adrian’s birthday surprise for my partner! Many thanks for awesome stay to both host Adrian and Craig. Best, Peter & Romy
