Boasting a patio with garden views, a garden and barbecue facilities, Nar river b&b can be found in Kings Lynn, close to Castle Acre Castle and 18 km from Houghton Hall. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Julie & Mick gave enough information to easily find their B&B located off the main road with private parking, and was hidden in a beautiful quiet location near the river Nar. We were greeted by the friendly and welcoming owners whom happily showed us our rooms and the large bathroom, and had a lovely little discussion about the surroundings. I was really impressed by all the details found around the rooms. The bathroom was appointed with lots of toiletries, lovely towels, and the rooms supplied with a coffee machine and kettles. The breakfast was first class, it had a variety and a wonderful selection of jams, cereals, a coffee selection, a fridge with milk and orange juice, a toaster and bread, it was much more than I even expected to find and it showed a wonderful sense of caring and hospitality, well done to you both. The rooms are well sized, and for four older family adults it was perfectly comfortable for all of us. When we arrived it was cold frosty weather and the house was so nicely heated that there was no feeling of a chilly house, and was comfortable throughout our stay. The views to the garden are wonderful. In the morning, from the back double room, looking over the frosted white gardens down to the river was just a magical feast of wildlife and birds all to be seen visiting the winter wonderland view. what a treat it was. We would have liked to have stayed longer to see more and explore the surroundings, and also to just look out the windows! We Chose this location especially to stay after going to the Thursford Winter Wonderland show. It is perfectly located for show, for future information, and not so far from the coastline too. We definitely would recommend this B&B, and would stay again ourselves, Thank you Julie and Mick for your wonderful hospitality and wonderful home. Happy New Successful New Year To you Both.

This place suited me perfectly. Thank you to great hosts Heidi & Hugh. Delicious breakfast brought to the room every morning. The room is a well done barn conversion with good heating, comfortable bed, secure parking in the farm yard. And lots of lovely and inquisitive farm animals around :-) I made the reservation at very short notice, but sure enough, Heidi was there to greet me and show me the room. Good base to explore North Norfolk. Can't fault this place.

The staff very friendly and helpful. Felt like a proper country pub. The rooms were very well decorated and had a good feel to them and the bathroom was a good size with a good shower. The evening meal was reasonably priced and pretty good and the breakfast was substantial.

Perfectly located in the village, and it had almost everything we needed. Lovely courtyard and quintessentially quaint cottage. Thanks so much for making our dog as warmly welcomed as the humans were.

Amazing property, very comfortable and sustainable! Heating powered by heat pump and solar panels providing energy for the buildings. Idyllic quiet setting off the main road, the beds were incredible. Good quality bed linen, clean, hot powerful shower. Not to mention how helpful and professional Lena is. This is real hospitality, small family run person experience and oh so unique! I liked it so much I sent a work colleague to stay there the following night.

A wonderful place - you feel as though you are going to stay with relatives not check in to a B and B ! The house is beautiful and bursting with character , set in a tranquil location. The hostess was very friendly , meeting us on arrival as well as some very friendly dogs . I booked to stay to attend a near by event but wish I’d spent more time relaxing at Manor House . The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve slept on and next day it was lovely to walk round the grounds and say hello to the horses . Would definitely return

Emma was a great host. Loved the views from bedroom and breakfast room. Breakfast of fresh fruit followed with a great cooked breakfast. Loved the poached eggs recommended you try by my husband. Lovely quiet location in an interesting area. Plenty of walks by the Nar valley. We would recommend to all.
