I had a wonderful stay at the Elms. The staffs were very kind and accommodating. Amal makes the best masala chai and it was very easy to communicate and organize everything from the hotel. The room was comfortable with Fan and very clean. Definitely recommend if you want to stay closer to the Periyar wildlife reserve.

There was plenty of variety to choose from in the buffet breakfast on both days that we stayed at Shiny Spices Homes. We had a good view of hills and picturesque tea gardens from our room. The host Mr Alan, was very kind and very helpful who arranged for buckets of hot water, our cabs for pick up, sight seeing, as well as drop off.

Great location, really friendly staff, let us check in early and helped us get a taxi to Alleppey, really helpful. Restaurant right below for breakfast, linch and dinner.
