Nice room. Comfortable. Right outside is a beautiful spot where you can sit and relax as you gaze upon the Como lake. Best of all was Elena. She made me feel welcome and assured me that she and her family were always ready to help.

Fabulous second floor room with a view over the lake from 2 aspects. Very comfortable beds and very private. Marco and Tanya who manage the hotel were fabulous and a mine of 'lake Como' information. their attention to their guests was second to none, and always cheerful and happy to please. We were only at the hotel for 2 short days, but based on their advice, we changed our schedule and visited different places. We couldn't have been happier with our revised plans. Did I mention the breakfast? By far the best we've ever had it Italy!

It was relaxing and out of the main tourist area - but only a short 15-20 minute walk from the ferry or train. Mr. Enzo was an exceptional host who made sure his guests have everything they need (and, if you don’t feel like walking - he might just come pick you up!) The view was lovely. after traveling in Italy for 4 weeks - this was the reprieve I needed. the little pool was perfect after a long day too - doesn’t seem like much until you get in it! Hope to visit again! Maybe in the winter for snowboarding.

Everything. Nonna Silvi, Daniele and Liebe (their Bernese mountain dog) were the best hosts that you could have and greet you like family. Nonna Silvi may not speak English, but that does not stop her from having conversations with you. She welcomes you with a bottle of Prosecco, daily home cooked breakfasts, surprises you with bottles of wine, home cooked dinner on your last night, does pick-up/drop-off services in her little Fiat 500; and is just simply filled with Italian warmth. Daniele is just as lovely and he can help to translate & relay any requests to Nonna Silvi, or you can ask him for any recommendations on what to do around the area. And Liebe… is the cutest, goofiest, hugest bundle of joy. The property itself is simply gorgeous. The view, the hot tub, the sauna, the olive grove, the amazing wine collection in their cellar. I mean the pictures here doesn’t do it justice. You have your own private room which has everything that you need - you have your own privacy when needed or you can pop out to cuddle with Liebe or have a hearty conversation with Nonna Silvi and Daniele. I could go on but if you’ve read this far, book this place. You won’t regret it.

The BnB is located high above Lake Como with an astounding view. It is quiet, in an old house with interesting detail, including the wonderful furnishings and paintings by Romana. She served the absolute best breakfast we have encountered. There are hiking trails above the town that can be accessed. The room was excellent with a modern bathroom. There is also a peaceful garden area where we enjoyed spending time.

C‘era una Volta is a lovingly well-maintained, charmingly decorated, and attentively staffed B&B on top of a hill with a spectacular view of Lago Di Como. I enjoyed the stroll up and down to Perledo towncenter and Varenna, but one could also take a bus, night shuttle or taxi. Our quadruple room exceeded my expectations because we had a whole apartment to ourselves with a small balcony, a receiving hall and a bathroom. The antique furniture and chandeliers, the old-fashioned but functional and modernized bathroom, the free snacks and refreshments, the personalized service - all these made our stay so pleasant. Alessandro and his wife responded immediately to calls and messages. They gave valuable tips and ensured each guest had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
