Rakan and his Family were fantastic hosts. We had booked four rooms and when we got there, the rooms were not „configured“ correctly. They immediately fixed it, no questions asked. The dinner was a home-cooked meal (Maqlooba) just for our group and it was more than enough and really, really delicious! Rakan (also his mother and cousin (I believe)) came by after dinner with tea and offered olives from his aunt’s farm and also for us to come to his farm near Jerash the next day to pick and taste olives and fruit. The next morning there a lovely Jordanian breakfast pancakes, omelette, jameed, etc., etc.. The stay was a really unexpected treat!
