Old town is about 15-20 minutes from there but there’s also a few local restaurants around so you don’t have to venture our far. breakfast at cafe saudade was so good too. worth the value for money.

You can observe all the nice touch in the room and common area showing the host's effort put on the house. Nila welcomes you, she is lovely, but only speaking Portuguese (Thanks to google translator I could communicate with her). João Chen is such a great, attentive host who gave all the necessary information and always quickly responded to my (written) questions. He gave such useful advice. (for a fantastic authentic restaurant etc). Thanks a lot. Highly recommended !!
