The host paid much attention to detail with fresh flowers in the room, extra blankets and a fully equipped bathroom. The breakfast, too, was amazing. Bianca and her family made us feel very welcome and we would love to stay there again next time we're in Melk.

The house has a large garden where the family grows own fruits and vegetables. For breakfast they serve home-made apricot and strawberry jams. The room was very clean and well-equipped. The house is situated on a calm street, it was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Krems is very close - you just need to cross the bridge over the river.

Boasting a garden and views of river, Johnys Jungle is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Marbach an der Donau, 18 km from Melk Abbey. Very friendly staff, 5 star breakfast, fast and super service. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Bathroom is also clean. Jungle decorations in the main areas including labeled gifts, sugar, energy drink etc.

Situated in Erlauf and only 18 km from Melk Abbey, Harrauer´s Living features accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, close to the highway, but still quiet. The two connecting rooms (4&5) were perfect for our stay. The kirchen was fully equipped, with a fridge with a small freezer. The beds were the most comfortable beds we've had in the many hotels we've stayed over the years. The terace was also great. We left early, so we could not enjoy the breakfast.

Only a few minutes to downtown Melk which had a pretty old town and pedestrian shopping area. Undercover parking.

Perfect breakfest with many choices. Nice surrounding in old town. The staff was very helpful. Room was clean and bed comfortable. I can recomend.

The owners were wonderful and friendly. English speaking. In the common area was possible to get water, drinks and snacks and later pay for it. We enjoyed the stay really much.
