We recently had the pleasure of staying at a hostel in Leticia, Colombia, and we must say that our experience was truly exceptional. Not only did the hostel provide comfortable and affordable accommodation, but it was the assistance provided by Nicholas, one of the staff members, that truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we stepped into the hostel, Nicholas greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine eagerness to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. His knowledge of the area and willingness to go above and beyond to help us with every aspect of our stay and tours was truly commendable. One of the highlights of our stay was Nicholas' assistance in arranging our tours. He took the time to listen to our preferences and interests, and based on that, he recommended and organized tours that perfectly aligned with what we were looking for. In addition to Nicholas' exceptional service, the hostel itself was clean, comfortable. The common areas were well-maintained. The rooms were cozy and equipped with all necessary amenities, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Overall, our stay at this hostel in Leticia was an absolute pleasure, and it was primarily thanks to Nicholas' outstanding assistance and dedication. His knowledge, friendliness, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set this hostel apart. We highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Leticia, as it offers not only a fantastic place to stay but also an invaluable resource in Nicholas, who will undoubtedly enhance your overall experience in this incredible corner of Colombia.

Refugio Maiku Puerto Nariño er staðsett í Puerto Nariño á Amazonas-svæðinu og er með garð. Meðal aðstöðu á gististaðnum er sameiginlegt eldhús og einkainnritun og -útritun ásamt ókeypis WiFi... we had a really nice stay ! clean rooms and a very lovely and welcoming owner :) special shout out to our tour guide alex, thanks for showing us around and being so nice !

Hospedaje casa Lucía býður upp á gistirými í Leticia. Gistikráin er með útisundlaug og herbergisþjónustu og ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum. The staff were so accomodating and friendly. The room and bathroom were HUGE! Really comfortable, large bed. Great pool and great location. Couldn’t believe a place like this was so cheap

La Ceiba, Amazonas er staðsett í Leticia á Amazonas-svæðinu og er með garð. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir ána og garðinn. Gististaðurinn er með fjölskylduherbergi og verönd. we had the tower room with private bathroom which was absolutely gorgeous!!! easy to Organise Tours when you are there. everything worked well (the Peru sloth tour was by far the best). good food at a very good price.

Maloka Napü - Ecodestinos er staðsett í Puerto Nariño og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og einingar með eldhúskrók og verönd. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir borgina og innri húsgarðinn. I liked how the place and the facilities have everything one needs while keeping the traditional ways.

Casa amazilia er staðsett í Leticia og býður upp á garð, útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið um kring og sundlaugarútsýni. Þetta gistihús býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd. I spent four days with Maricela in the bedroom with a private bathroom. Maricela is a lovely host, she picked me up at the airport and she talked me through different options of things to do in the upcoming days. She can put you in contact with a guide for any type of activity you would like to do. Her house is very nice, very welcoming (and her dog Niky is lovely!) My room had AC and a hammock in front of the door, super cosy. The bathroom was clean and very big. You can take a moto-taxi to town (Maricela can call one for you) or walk, it takes around 15/20 minutes and it's very secure. I really appreciated that Maricela was always waiting for me when I came back from dinner or activities - as someone travelling alone, it was nice to know someone was looking after me. I would recommend going for lunch in Terras Amazonas (excellent Wifi) and have ice cream at Nàì Chì Gelatería Artesanal after watching the birds settle for the night in Park Santander... Magic!

Casa Azul Reserva Amazonica er staðsett í Leticia og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi, sólarverönd með sundlaug, garð og veitingastað. The journey to enter the hotel was incredible. Life around the area delighted us. It was an incredible place. You really should go and stay here if you want to live the jungle.

Bungalow er staðsett í Leticia á Amazonas-svæðinu. The Jungle - Ecolodge HUITOTO er með garð. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir garðinn og innri húsgarðinn. The place was lovely, clean and it had everything we needed. Donia Luz Nelly was very warm and welcoming with her brother and husband. A nice river nearby, and safe place overall. I really recommend Takania. The tour guide recommended by them Javier was incredibly helpful

San José HOUSE býður upp á gistirými í Leticia. Boðið er upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði og gististaðurinn býður upp á flugrútu gegn gjaldi. Carolina and her mother were EXTREMELY hospitable!!! Could not ask for more from a host. Their personableness and attention assured us of a return visit.
