At the guest house, all rooms have a desk, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. All guest rooms at Birchwood Guest Lodge come with a seating area. The rooms gave out a unique atmosphere of coziness. We liked the unique way the beds were turning from sofas to beds, but we would also love it if they were a little wider. The room was spacious enough, and so was the internal private bathroom. The owners seemed friendly and caring.

A cooked breakfast made with local produce is served in the morning from 8:00 to 9:00. Continental and vegetarian options are also available on request. Comfortable, welcoming, relaxed, lovely all round. Great breakfast, best B&B in Balloch, hands down.

Mattresses are comfy, everything was clean, good prices for sweets and beverages in fridge.

Carolyn has prepared the cottage in advance for us. It’s warm when we check-in into the place. Sufficient heating and well equipped with basic amenities.
