We stayed in Room 5. Beautifully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, a fabulous nights sleep and breakfast was exceptional (Compliments to the Chef!!). Daryl was very welcoming, as were the front house staff through to housekeeping. You will not be disappointed when you stay here!

Set in South Shields, 800 metres from Sandhaven Beach and 11 km from Stadium of Light, South Shore Guest House offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. Had a lovely stay!. My hosts could not have been more friendly, helpful or accommodating. Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable. Good breakfast that was made to order. Great location, 2 minutes walk from parks, 5 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes to the centre of town. I would def book here again!

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Hoppers Cottage Guest House is located in Gateshead, 2.1 km from MetroCentre and 6.7 km from Utilita Arena. Good location for an event we were attending at the Rugby Club. Very secure with coded entrance and key safe box. Spacious room, clean and comfy with towels and linen provided. Good sized en suite shower room. Great to have the option of a shared lounge/kitchen area as well. Plenty of places to eat/drink right on the doorstep.

Situated just less than 1 km from Sandhaven Beach, The Clifton offers accommodation in South Shields with access to a terrace, a bar, as well as a housekeeping service. I have had a very nice stay in this hotel. One of the best this year so far.

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from South Shields’ beach and Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, this 3-star guest house offers free Wi-Fi access. Exceptionally clean and tidy and warm, management first class as was the service. Very quiet at night. I would definately recommend for a stay.

Set in a residential street, this large Victorian house is only a 2-minute walk to South Shields town centre, parks and beaches. It has nicely decorated bedrooms and free parking. Great location for sea front. Good clean accommodation, friendly owners, lovely well cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Quiet room. Had a lovely stay, we will definitely be back.
