Offering free parking just 8 minutes’ walk from Galway’s centre, Ash Grove House offers freshly cooked, full Irish breakfasts. The breakfast was excellent. The host had us sign up for a time the night before and it was hot and ready the next morning. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

Set in Clifden and only 5.1 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial, Railway Avenue Rooms offers accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking. Probably the accommodation that has taken the most care of detail and comfort that I have ever stayed in. Cozy and comfortable kitchen next to the room with EVERYTHING you might need to go to the Lidl 5 minutes away and prepare some dinner or for breakfast included. 2x2 bed, large television screen in the room, tourist brochures about the area, books... all perfect and taken care of down to the detail.

Located in Tubber, in a historic building, 27 km from Dromoland Golf Course, The Burren Inn is a bed and breakfast with a garden and terrace. Charming rural location with great views and people. Rooms were very clean and the building was newly renovated. The attached pub turned into a nice community gathering spot at night with lots of drinking options on tap!

Located in Cong and only 1.3 km from Ashford Castle, Salmon Weir Lodge provides accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The breakfast was outstanding, large range of fresh fruits, juices, cereals, savoury tarts, hot if required, quality pastries. The views from our windows upstairs over the garden & trees. The stone fence in the yard was on the edge of the river with ducks swimming around. The hostess was generous with the use of her sitting room.

Located in Galway and only 4.5 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium, Seacrest provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The host Derek was exceptional, every detail covered, cleanliness was paramount and the ease of dealing with Derek was not only great, but lots of fun and laughter. It would have to be one of the best B&B’s we have stayed at. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay at Galway.

Situated in Claregalway and only 10 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium, Claregalway Castle features accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. The grounds, reception, manager, everything was great. The room was gorgeous, and the castle tour was super interesting. I absolutely loved my stay here!

Offering a terrace and garden view, Dan O'Hara Farmhouse B&B is set in Clifden, 12 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial and 26 km from Kylemore Abbey.
