Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. Our room (2) was a good size and tastefully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the fluffy towels were changed daily. Breakfast was beautifully presented in picnic hamper and delivered by Francoise, our gracious host, either to our room or set up in the garden, depending on the weather. It contained yoghurt, granola and stewed apple together with a warm scone and jams.

The baked goods on arrival were a real treat after a long drive. Breakfast was really good loved the sweet and savoury options.

With ocean views from every room, the Spouter Inn Bed and Breakfast is a Colonial-style home built in 1832. It is situated on 1.5 acres with flower gardens and rocking chairs on the front porch, all located directly across from Lincolnville Beach. One of the best B & B's we stopped in on our New England adventure. Our room the Focsle although compact was comfortable, clean and had a view of the beach and seafront. The breakfasts were excellent with a different menu each morning cooked freshly to order. Both Mark and Tracy are great hosts and include many extras which makes a stay here exceptional. They are easy to get on with and have a good knowledge of the area, where to go and what to see. There are good fish restaurants within easy walking distance and more a short car journey away. It's rare to find a property of this high standard in such a peaceful location so my advice is go here and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.
