It’s very cool to stay in a house boat, the kids were excited :)

Beautiful views of water and neighbourhood it is also very accessible. We were able to park our car in the property and use the garden. We enjoyed sitting at the window and wave back to all the people passing by on their boats. Giethoorn is a beautiful place and I would recommend the visit, we definitely want to come back and we would stay at Wendy’s place again

The house was very cozy and had everything necessary to spend a weekend. Car park right behind the boat houses. Quiet location. Fireplace ❤️ I read some comments complaining about the noise of the water pump: people, it is a boathouse. If you want the commodities of a vila, go and rent a vila, not a boat. That simple.

The place itself, it truly felt like at home. The location, in a village, yet so surprisingly close by to the old centre of Deventer (with the ferry boat). The room, cosy, old style, yet comfortable. No TV (+++!). The owner, friendly, helpful, reserved at the same time, a perfect combi. The breakfast! B&B in its full sense. Free and easy parking.

very close to bus stop, boat trip and supermarket. Although the weather is cold and wet, much quiet in the late autumn the whole area. Very affordable price for the room and breakfast.

Perfect location. Beautiful property. Amazing staff. We were here for a night, but wish could have stayed longer. The Hotel owners provided all the necessary help around the area. We took a boat and a cycle from them. They were kind to offer a jacket too, to help with the cold.

Very well-maintained and super clean house boat owned by a super efficient owner, very thoughtful of him to keep a stock of essentials such as coffee, tea bags, handwash, salt and pepper.

Excellent, unique views of the IJssel river and the town of Kampen. The house boat is a unique place to stay. It has a large living room, well-equipped kitchen, cosy fire place, and bed room with attached shower. Watching water birds and passing ships. The owners were very friendly and always available if there were any issues, as they live nextdoor. It's a 15-minute walk from Kampen and 5-minute walk from Kampen railway station. Private parking nearby.
