The boat is right in the city centre in walking distance to sights, restaurants, cafés, shops. It is a great place to be at, nice when sunny, cosy when rainy.

Guests can enjoy a meal on an outdoor dining area while overlooking the river views. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. A lovely tiny houseboat - on a beautiful marina literally a few min walk to the historic old village of Hattem. The houseboat also has a roof deck so we could watch the sun go down around 10.30pm each night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare our own meals for our stay. The bathroom had a good shower and we could walk from the boat to the surrounding nature area around the canal. A lovely scenic place to stay.

The 1-bedroom apartment has two queen beds, full kitchen, can comfortably sleep four. Parking is free in the cafe lot. The location is great, right on the canal, in the middle of the houses. You should stay a night in Giethoorn because of the morning and evening peace and quiet after day trippers are gone. The canal turns into mirror and you get beautiful pics w perfect reflections. This is not possible during the day w tourist boats.

Modern property, well furnished, extremely clean and comfortable. Great location, and a good variety of services (eg: boat rental) associated to the property. The managers of the property communicated well and accommodated our requests to the best possible extent. Kitchen is also well stocked with cutlery and crockery. Nice outdoor sit-out area to have a cold beer in the evenings or a hot coffee in the morning. The boats available for rental are also very well maintained and reasonably priced.
