Great location, just across from Antwerp Central, Rooms were comfortable and clean. Good coffee/tea making equipment. Nice view from the room towards the train station.
Hotel Rubens-Grote Markt is located less than a 1-minute walk from the lively Market Square with bars and restaurants, as well as The Cathedral of Our Lady.
All the people we met were kind and provided useful info.
All the people we met were kind and provided useful info. The café on the corner is agreeable and very fair in price. On our way to a correct little Italian restaurant nearby (side street when you cross the main road ), we discovered a very friendly brewery café in an old big house and a bit further noticed a night shop. It seems incorrigible talkers are many in this town !!!👍
This is basically a recuperation place for patients from the hospital - there are NO water bottles , glasses or tea/ coffee in the room and the lounge closed at 8pm along with the reception - after a long day i them had to leave the hotel and go to the petrol station to get a take away tea and bottles of water - at the weekend there are no management to deal with complaints - I rate this a 2 because it had a secure car park and was clean but I WONT book again .
One of the best things about our stay here was the staff, they were really lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Good location. Our room was clean and tidy, had everything we needed. The bed was huge and very comfortable! We definitely recommend staying here at this family run hotel. They really do make it something special.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel main purpose is to accommodate patients from the University Hospital, however anybody can stay here. The breakfast and the kitchen staff were excellent, the room and bathroom were very clean. Lovely environment with lots of well kept plants 👍

Breakfast was good, decent room size and a nice balkony. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. The substance of the hotel is clearly getting on in years, but I feel the people working there do everything they can to still provide a very good experience.
This hotel is part of the medical center of Antwerp and the hotel is a residence for rehabilitation. That means that absolutely the whole building is wheel chair accessible. As a hotel, it means it is very spacious and incredibly clean, with good beds. Fridge is rooms.
Pleasant experience at this slightly outdated hotel facilities.
The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. All we needed for a short break.
We especially loved the breakfast offer and the kindness of the staff.
