Fit for a Dream
Located in the very centre of the country, the modernist and monumental Brasilia was built from scratch in the Central Highlands of Brazil. The masterpiece from urban planner Lucio Costa and architect Oscar Niemeyer was inaugurated in 1960 and built in only 5 years. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
Brasilia can be described as the realization of Brazilians dreaming of a better tomorrow, with its broad avenues and futuristic buildings.
