Very friendly locals, excellent trustworthy taxi driver (Kenny - I made use of him all the time I was there and he was on time, very knowledgeable, pointed out landmarks, chatted amiably, informed - an excellent conversationalist - and I think very fair with his fares.
I found the city incredibly clean and free of garbage. This is exceptional and I cannot say the same about the capital cities of South Africa, unfortunately. My people can learn from the citizens of Botswana.

The pula was more to rands and when i looked at my statement i was not happy :( i think our rands should do better. The people around are friendly and help full. Riverwalk mall not bad at all, we had our meals and bought the snacks too at pick 'n pay. We went for a game drive at Mokolodi Nature Reserve, it is easy to drive around. Next time i need to bring more money and be prepared, as i was not ready for how expensive it was :)

Gabs has when cheerful people.
Gabs has when cheerful people. It's an affordable city, transport costs are affordable. Don't bring USD notes before 2009. Loved Table50Two at iTowes in CBD and also enjoyed Avani. Bring light clothing in summer.

what I love most about the city is how safe it is, the people are generally very helpful and speak English. There are a few sight seeing hot spots, but the best place to spend the afternoon is at Main Mall, it has artists, music, food and everything in between. There are also 2 nature reserves in the outskirts of the city and a botanical garden that I loved.
Everything about this place is wonderful
1. The place is situated in a magical location, nature, water, birds etc
2. Rooms are fantastic - comfortable large beds, oversized bathrooms, fast wifi, kitchen equipments, BBQ items etc
3. The fridge is full of lovely goodies. Chocolates, milk, serials, tea items, fruits etc
4. Mainly honest staff, I lost a valuable necklace in the room, two days after they called me and returned it to me.
You should visit this place if you are in Gaborone.... You will never regret the experience
This is one of, if not the best hotel to stay at in CBD in my opinion. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are of decent size and quality. If you are looking for a gym, the one in the hotel only has a few dumbbells and cardio machines, but there is a gym across the street that is well-equipped. Breakfast is generally good, I recommend getting your choice made to order. In terms of location, it does not get much better if you're planning on staying in the CBD. Taxis are generally easily available.
Nice & well equipped cottage right on the river. We had the Burchell cottage with huge outdoor area, including a braai area. The kitchen had a little stove and a microwave and yoghourt & fruits, toast, butter, jam etc. for bteakfast. The place was very peaceful & special, a real little gem! Good WiFi as well. Highly recommended!
It’s just a 15 min. ride by car to the center of Gaborone, an interesting, modern and very clean city.
I wish I could give this place 11 or 12 points, it was so perfect for my three nights in Gabarone. If you have a rental car it would be hard to find a better situation. Everything about the cottage was perfect, wish I could stay longer. Loved the bed, the coziness, the quietness, the privacy, the great A/C unit, the central location, the value, the nice owners. Thank you for a great stay!
City Mews is outstanding...truly home away from home. The apartment is large, clean and well-appointed with high-quality appliances and furnishings. The bed is comfortable. Location is perfect. And the host is absolutely first-rate. I greatly appreciated his flexibility and support during our visit. Can't wait to stay here again on the next trip to Gaborone.
He breakfast this morning was huge disappointment in fact it was way below what one would expect from your hotel .
Taking into account the price of the accommodation your breakfast was not up to scratch. I would like to have a chat
With your G M either by phone or on my next visit.
International standards' hotel in the middle of Gaborone CBD. Stayed in their Club wing and the rooms were spacious and well sorted. Seems they have different "wings" with different rooms types. Pool was okay (if too chlorinated) and the gym was useful. Good breakfast.
The hotel was great but the staff was even better. Tumi, Didi, and Fifi made me feel like I was part of their family and I cannot say enough good things about them. They are GREAT. The entire staff were the most helpful, caring people I've been around. Top Notch!
The location, it was true to brand in being “cosy”. Felt like home away from home, literally. It was clean, good interior decor on the minimal end and functional. Lovely hosts Leo and Andreea, very helpful and responsive. Will be back whenever I’m in Gaborone
We loved the location, convenience, amenities, and views. The willingness to assist us with anything we needed was simply amazing. Everyone we meet greeted with a smile and welcomed us to this most beautiful city...GABORONE!
This was an emergency visit that family had to make to Gaborone at short notice. The ease of booking and the hospitality at Town Lodge, Airport Junction made it a seamless visit. Thanks to all the staff who assisted.
Great location, staff are very friendly, room size is big with basic amenities like fridge & etc and cleanliness is great. The hotel met my expectations, and I will recommend someone and stay again
What a beautiful guest house. The home is immaculate and nicely designed and kept. The staff, especially Abi, were so accommodating in all of the ways possible. I would definitely stay here again.
