It was my first stay at the Seaside Hotel but it had been fantastic.
The room was clean and quite comfortable; I appreciated the choice to not get the room cleaned every day so to be a little more eco friendly. The rooms had plenty of electric sockets and a good illumination to choose from. The staff was friendly and always available. The breakfast was a la carte and rather delicious.
Great location. It is easily reachable from YVR airport with the Sky train first, then the Seabus and finally a pair of minutes on foot on the seafront. The view from the seafront is on the Vancouver Downtown skyline. There is also a neat choice of restaurants and cafes in less than 5 minutes on foot from the hotel's door.

Love North Vancouver and the proximity to the mountains, North Vancouver areas and the beautiful views.
There are many places that could be visited, but I prefer to go further North or East, if not downtown Vancouver.
The traffic over Lions Gate bridge at Rush Hour is terrible, and recommend travelling in a different time if possible.

The house is new and clean.
The house is new and clean. Owner (Michael) is so nice, you can socialize with him pleasantly. The place's view is amazing. Water is running 7x24 in the river stream, which you can see from your rooms.
North Vancouver is for people loving outdoor activities such as hiking and going to beaches. The house is not far (15-minute driving) from the downtown of Vancouver.

For a quick staycation we had friends coming from the island as well as the valley and decided North Van would be a good middle distance. We had few expectations and assumed we would be shopping and sipping drinks with good friends. It turned out that it was very easy to get around between sea bus to down town and bussing up to the parks. The shipyards area and lower lonsdale is rich with great little stores and non-chain restaurants which was such a treat.

I've stayed here numerous times before and was surprised to be booked in a very small basement bedroom . There was no air conditioning in the room but only an open basement window. Not impressed considering the number of previous bookings. Otherwise the facilities met with our previous expectations. lovely view and great kitchen facilities with several breakfast options.

North Vancouver is a lovely area just across the bay from Downtown Vancouver. Easy access across the bay via the regular ferry gives you the best of everything. North Vancouver seems a nice safe neighbourhood with a nice choice of bars and restaurants. You also have easy access to the hills and mountains where there are some great walks and stunning scenery.

The location on the quay is nice, I liked the compact package of parking, market, shops and hotel. The room was unremarkable but fairly spacious and clean with a nice view over the water towards the cityscape of downtown Vancouver, particularly pretty at night. Very easy access to the SeaBus (a very efficient, frequent and reasonably priced public transportation option to get across the harbour to downtown Vancouver in 12 minutes or so, https://www.translink.ca/schedules-and-maps/seabus ).
This was a very easy location for driving all over North Vancouver, West Vancouver and Downtown. We enjoyed the apartment at the end of the day although the kitchen was so tiny but had everything you need. The balcony was also a plus and the view of downtown at night was a bonus. I stayed here with my son as I thought it had a sofa bed in the living room but it turned out to be just a sofa. It was more comfortable than the bed in the end.
Despite being in North Vancouver, the hotel is near to major highways. Getting to other parts of the city is very easy--just a cheap Uber or taxi ride away. The neighbourhood is walkable and fairly quiet except the main street running along the front of the hotel. There were good restaurants and amenities nearby, but no night life to speak of. The hotel room was well-furnished with comfy beds, quiet AC, a microwave and a mini fridge.
I did not even enter the kitchen. I did not take a shower. There were too many people meandering about. It felt like a dorm room. We did get one of the nicest rooms with a view, the bed was comfy, room clean, and the wifi worked well and there is plenty of parking. Don't count on owner helping you out. Would have paid a few extra dollars to stay in an actual hotel.
my bill ended up being almost 200 over what they quoted me just for parking it looks . did take a thing from your rooms. which Lonsdale Hotel offers their stuff free!?? and we were there for our anniversary. how is that almost a grand for two night’s?? it puts the people who do hourly jobs scramble for money! won’t be staying here again.
Crystal was a wonderful host - she went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the patio was gorgeous. The 2 breakfasts we had were excellent. Crystal brought coffee to our room in the morning - much appreciated. We loved North Vancouver - great location.
Kinda was pissed when I wasn't told that when I booked the hotel thinking that I was getting a good deal that there would be a $52 parking cost and after paying that fee I still got a parking violation of $75 ! Maybe let people know the parking is extra before they purchase the hotel thru you folks 👎
Great apartment in north Vancouver. Wel equipped kitchen. Beds are very good. Outside deck with a barbecue. There is even a treehouse in which you can relax and enjoy the view. There is a bus nearby that’ll take you to the city.
The location was perfect for us visiting family in North Vancouver. The little town of Edgemont is great for unique gift shopping as well as groceries. The suite was clean, quiet and comfortable. The price is reasonable too.
Great property - would have happily lived in it :-) - well stocked, super clean and very comfortable. location is great for North Vancouver, particularly as we wanted to visit Lynn Valley
I loved the bed and the pillows, they were were pleasant throughout our stay.
The staff was not as friendly as usual, at least if I compared them to other hotel chains.
Very close to Capilano Suspension Bridge and attractions in North Vancouver.
Staff were very friendly, had a smoking area for guests as everywhere else is smoke free
