Clean, cozy and very convenient for a family to stay in. Kitchen was large with a cute little back deck, the play room was amazing for children and having multiple bathrooms was wonderful. Easy check in and out and customer service was friendly and helpful.

It's hard to find something I did like. However, I'd say, the location of the hotel is pretty good if you're looking for a cheap hotel close to the downtown. You can get to the main casinos and the downtown itself by walking down the street.

A couple of nice restaurants (we enjoyed Tim Horton's and Donnelly's Pub), small, walkable, very pleasant town. The lock system was what drew me to Thorold but I enjoyed the town itself as well. I had dinner at places near the historic town center: Donnelly’s pub, where I had a great lamb stew, and breakfast at Hana’s which was friendly with good food. I found some nice shops in that area as well and some lovely homes and parks.

Two bedrooms had an ensuite bathroom, the other bedrooms had a separate shared bath. The area, fairly new townhomes, seem comprised of college age students. There are stores and restaurants in nearby Thorold and about a 30 min drive to NOTL.. We stayed the weekend to attend the ice wine festival and visit nearby wineries. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. There was a parking on site which was an advantage, the area was nice and quiet as the hotel is in a residential area. The Hotel was very clean and hygienic. The photo of the Hotel and rooms do not do justice as it was a very well maintained property and we would love to stay there again.

The location and balcony are ideal for watching the huge boats passing through Lock 7. The town of Thorold is charming. A special treat was discovering that on Friday evenings in the summer there is a “Ride Night” of vintage cars in the town centre. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. A great balcony view of the lock. The inn is located in a historic part of Thorold so the area is lovely small town Ontario. We spent little time in our room because we were busy with all the area attractions.

The hotel is very quiet with lots of privacy. The room and especially the bathroom is clean. The mattress is very comfy. I like their suite which is perfect for a family. The staffs are very friendly. Location is good - 15 minutes drive to St. Catherine and Niagara Falls.
