The town has everything for a weekend stay. A good selection of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The market square has seats for relaxing and watching the world go by. The palace and gardens are a real gem. There are tours of the building and the gardens offer a chance to relax in a scented environment

We were on an ancestry discovery trip, so the location was convenient to some of the little towns I wanted to explore. The Palace and grounds are well worth a visit.
The Palace and grounds are well worth a visit. Public transport is very affordable and efficient and within easy walking distance of the Hotel. We were warmly greeted, well cared for, and fully accommodated. The room was spacious and well appointed, and even had an air conditioner (a rarity in Germany). Free coffee and tea was a nice touch, as was letting us store our bikes inside. Breakfast was handled, considering the health and safety restrictions, quite well. There was a good buffet, but guests were served by staff. It worked!
