Very handy location as wanted somewhere to stay after crossing through the euro tunnel very late at night. Fitted the bill perfectly as a place to stopover before heading further into Europe after a good sleep. Very comfy bed. Bathroom a bit basic and plastic but overall a very good hotel for the price.

Coquelles is a small group of housing and industrial units between Calais proper and Sangatte. It is not a place to visit for tourists, you need a car, although Calais and Sangatte are a only stiff walk away.

Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review.
Didn’t spend enough time to give a helpful review. We ate at the Poivre Rouge. Staff very nice but the steak my wife had was the most overpriced piece of meat I have ever seen. The steak - butchers cut - is in the photo. It cost €15.50 on its own!!

We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel.
We have previously visited just to go through the Tunnel. Time on our hands this time, meant that we could visit some of the beaches. Those at Sangatte were truly lovely and well worth spending a day or more at. Coquelles itself has a good supermarket, restaurants etc, so worth breaking the journey there and preparing either for an excursion further into France, or the trip back home. And if you have time, Cap Gris-Nez is also lovely!

The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence...
The hotel and ones next to it has a large police presence and many police vehicles in the car park making it feel very safe and secure. The location is perfect for the tunnel and shopping, where it is quite basic it suits well for an overnight stop.
Staff friendly and efficient.
Furnishings a little tired.
The location of the hotel is excellent for access to the channel tunnel, just a 5 minute drive. The rooms are small but very functional and clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom has everything you need, there was a kettle, tea and coffee and there is a good size flat screen TV. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke English (a big plus as we don't speak much French). Overall, excellent value for money and would stay here again when travelling from France to England via the channel tunnel.
Its a cheap hotel and the room is small. But they managed to put a lot in it. Mind to use the bathroom alone otherwise it can be a tight fit. It was very clean. The staff and management was very friendly and helpful. We paid extra for breakfast but knew that beforehand. At our time of stay it was 8 Euro a person, I consider this cheap. Its a basic breakfast but it was within expectations. Very good hotel if your just staying the night and easy to find.
We had an unforeseen over night stop at this hotel in Calais due to our animal health certificate being incorrectly filled in by vets in Florence. So we had to re-administer our dog the correct worming tablet abd had to wait 24 hours before we could re-enter UK. The hotel was very clean, and handy for Le Shuttle. The late check out of 12 o clock was also handy for us. Breakfast was good. Nice sized room. Good value
Very comfortable room. Close to local restaurants and very handy for Eurotunnel. As we were staying 2 nights we discovered a local bus service and were able to go to the centre of Calais for some sightseeing. Bonus being that the buses are free of charge. We cannot comment about the breakfast as we didn't eat here.
Very friendly and helpful staff for sure.
The location as a stopover for the Chunnel is close to perfection.
The familly room was really nice.
And, with the large shopping center a stone throw away, you have plenty of decent choices for restaurants and petrol.
We were very satisfied of our choice.
We stayed at this hotel on several times in the past and was reluctant to stay again as it had become quite shabby, but since the renovations it has become our best hotel for stops in Calais we were impressed, well done on the disabled room we had just right thank you.
It was my children's first stay in a hotel. They loved it The staff were very polite, welcoming, smart and professional. Everything was super clean and sparkling. Breakfast was amazing. My children loved the pool. Thanks to everyone for all your hard work.
We had food delivered to our room as our daughter had to be out to bed and it was exceptional! Very tasty with quality ingredients. We hope to come back and eat in the actual restaurant next time. Room was perfect and the travel cot was all set up for us.
I used to stay in this hotel at least once a year before the pandemic. I haven't been there for about 3 years. The room is still clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable. Being right next to Eurotunnel and Cite Europe, the location is fantastic.
Location was good, room for disabled was good, evening meal really nice and good breakfast,we had our dog with us and we had no problem at the hotel, all staff very helpful,we have stayed there before and will stay again
Location 10 min drive to port of Calais. Safe parking . good location for shopping / eating drinking before catching Ferry
we only had Breakfast at hotel, which is your typical cold breakfast
