Catherine gave us a breakfast each day, fresh bread, jams and a sweet cake or tart. Juice with Tea/coffee. There is an ancient ambience here and although no flash fixtures like a hotel it made up for everything by it's unique character. We had the twin room, on the right. Good beds. The shower was broken and would slide down so ask about it. The centre room also has a strange shower, not a normal spray so ask about that when you book. The three bedrooms are on the road side but it is quiet if you close the windows. History is all around you. But the history needs some work to make guests more comfortable. The two shared lounge rooms are large and have great furniture for guests to use but it's too dark, stronger globes are needed. There is a shared microwave and small fridge. We loved it as it was such a special place to visit. The town is very beautiful, walk at night, it is special. The Chateau is worth the entry of E10p/p for a guided tour. Parking is easy, outside the house or nearby on the road. Never had a problem.
Great opportunity to have a special experience. Great hosts.

A very nice place to stay close to the attractions of the Massif Central. A very kind and helpful owner, spacious and comfortable room, a place to park the car. The house is close to a relatively busy street but it was not a major nuisance, even though I am a very light slepper, because of good windows on the back. A little bit far from shops, restaurants etc., but with a car this is not a problem. Easy to spot - the name says everything. I will gladly come back.
