Lovely place , plenty of choice to eat and drink , great views from the wheel. Also , I would just like to correct myself , the name was Jackie who was front of house , not Julia , we had contact with Julia before arriving , whole gave a good belly laugh , the smoky negative I had from the staff was the on duty Manager , the rest of the staff were amazing

Beaumaris is a beautiful costal town.
Beaumaris is a beautiful costal town. It has panoramic views over the Menai Straits. There are plenty of eating options for every taste. The town has an artistic focus with many art outlets and gift shops. There are also opportunities to attend workshops. We dined at Bishopsgate hotel and The Liverpool hotel. Food at both establishments was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Lots of lovely walk from the town centre and a castle and jail house to visit. The town is very easy to walk around and there is ample parking space not too far from the town cwntre.

Lots of things to see in Beaumauris.
Lots of things to see in Beaumauris. The castle is worth a visit with views of the Menai straits. There is a large car park on the sea front at £6 for all day parking. There are free, clean public toilets in the centre of town. Lots of great shops and eating places. I took a boat trip around Puffin Island, there are a couple of companies doing these, it lasted 1 hour 20 minutes and well worth doing. The sea is a bit choppy around the island due to the water currents.

Booked hotel to take a morning boat trip to Puffin island, trip was cancelled due too bad weather, we later found out that the puffins were not there at that time of year, so check they are nesting before you go. Nice little town ok for a day visit.

There is so much to do in such a small and pretty village.
There is so much to do in such a small and pretty village. The castle is two minutes from the hotel which displays lots of historical information. Lots of independent shops are great for browsing and offer locally produced goods.
St. Mary and St. Nicholas church offers free entry and is a beautiful building with an information sheet offering more details on its history.
Beaumaris is a great place for a leisurely stroll with plenty to see and do.

beautifull welsh town with nice old cottages and buildings.
beautifull welsh town with nice old cottages and buildings. loads of local history including the Beaumaris castle. my favourite part is the Barron hill estate that I really love. the history behind it is amazing and not many people know its there. best pub for food is defiantly the George and dragon and the meals are good quality and get loads. one place to avoid in my opinion is the ye old bull. no staff and there rude in there plus overpriced.
Very nice place which seems to have been refurbished recently.
We stayed in the main building which is full of character. Room was large and very well decorated. Bed was good size and very comfortable. Very large bathroom with bath and good shower.
Staff at hotel where very friendly and accommodating,
We only had breakfast at hotel which was made from good quality ingredients.
Overall would not stay in main hotel again but would use Town House which is part of hotel adjacent. Rooms are overpriced due noise issue.
Set in a quiet, rural location with a glimpse of the sea, a cosy cottage ideally placed to access all areas of Anglesey and close to Beaumaris for beautiful shops and restaurants. The hosts were in contact from the moment we booked with detailed instructions for keys etc. A very welcome touch was the provision of milk, butter, fresh bread, tea and coffee to get us started, and plenty of logs for the woodburning stove We will definitely return to stay at Ty Efail. A well-appointed home from home!
Great location with easy parking. Easy to walk around the town visiting the shops, the court house, the jail, the castle and the pier for a lovely puffin watching boat trip. Excellent gin making experience at The Spirit of Anglesey. Fabulous lamb dinner at the Bulkeley hotel, a great place to visit and probably stay. The staff at the Liverpool arms seemed helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and good value for money. Time for service was good.
This is our second visit to Castle court and it’s a great hotel in a perfect location right in the centre of Beaumaris. The rooms are small but very clean with great extras such as tea and coffee in the room.
Staff were more than welcoming especially the young girl (sorry I didn’t get her name) who made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Breakfast was continental with great options such as pain au chocolate, toast, cereals ect.
Lovely rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ideal location right on the main street in Beaumaris. The hotel has a small bar and guest lounge. There is a small car park at the back of the hotel, but access is quite tight if you have a large car. I parked on the green car park, which charges £5 for a 24 hour stay, so safe to park overnight.
The views from the property are absolutely lovely and the location is superb - there's so much to see in the area and things to do for everyone. I recommend driving round the coast of the whole island and there are some truly spectacular beaches with mountain views. Also the Bulkeley Hotel does a nice dinner service and is a 1 min walk away.
Location excellent for the sea front and for the high street
Variety of places to eat within the hotel
Quirky, antiques to purchase, little gift shop with local crafts, craft fair in the ballroom
Even though we didn’t have a dig with us we liked that it was dog friendly
Our room was excellent, great size and view
All staff extremely nice
From making the initial booking, communication throughout with Hannah was great, nothing too much trouble.
Perfect location for exploring Anglesey and further afield in North Wales.
Definitely dog friendly, due to change in circumstances ours didn't come, but lots of well behaved dogs in the bar and also surrounding amenities.
By far the best guest house in Beaumaris! Nothing was too much to ask and we enjoyed a wonderful stay at this lovely property.
I have been staying at Beaumaris for years and this is undoubtedly the best accommodation of its type in the village. Rooms were lovely, perfectly situated and the service was absolutely fantastic.
The property is really central so fabulous for a stay in Beaumaris, the rooms are decorated lovely, spotlessly clean and supply everything you’d need.
Hannah was amazing with last minute requests for decoration in my mums room for her 70th birthday and was so hospitable for our whole stay including her family.
Great clean apartment - everything you could need for self catering. Lovely comfy beds and nice bed linen. Super location for Beaumaris - round the corner from the fab bakery and minutes from the sea front. No issue with parking on the road outside. Will book again
Hotel very comfortable and in a good location for travelling around Anglesey. Staff extremely helpful and friendly.
Ate in the restaurant on several occasions, food and service very good.
The location was good and easy to find. Good location for getting about and touring around Anglesey.
Plenty of space in the cottage and the grounds. Quiet & peaceful; plenty of parking.
Traditional hotel and furnishings. Staff were excellent, we had an evening meal that rates as one of the best meals ever.
A bonus was the hotels private car park.
