The Hotel is in such an excellent location. Stunning views. The decor throughout suits the hotel.
A swimming pool and spa facilities would bring this hotel up to 5 star. The food is delicious and the staff efficient and pleasant and friendly. My favourite hotel in the North Coast 🤩

The standard of decor and attention to detail was fantastic. The staff were so pleasant. We stayed in a classic room, it was a good size, lots of room and facilities excellent. Coffee machine, homemade shortbread, mini fridge, toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers as standard. Breakfast was exceptional, the standard of a posh brunch cafe. Will definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at Anvershiel House, check in was smooth (loved the fact I didn't have to provide arrival time which can be tricky). Room was big, clean and comfy and had everything you might need for a short or long stay. Self service breakfast gives hostel vibes but there is plenty of choice so no one will be left disappointed. Location is away from the main area of Portrush but still very close to the beach, cafe's and bar. Parking space for each room which was the reason we booked. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely town on the North Coast to base yourself for all the excursions around. Fantastic beaches and plenty of good food places. Weather can change at a moments notice with sun, rain and the wrath of the Atlantic all in a day, come prepared. If you golf there are excellent golf courses.

As long as weather is good there is no better place to be than at Portrush. The beaches the food the pubs all great and the people always make you welcome.
General shopping would be limited however, but in reality when you go to portrush your not really wanting to shop.

I scheduled in Portrush because of a visit to Giants Causeway. I was pleasantly surprised with the city. It is a very clean upscale beach town. My only regret is not realizing The Harbour bar was also a restaurant. We did end up eating in a more trendy "European" restaurant and did not discover Harbour Bar until after dinner. As a traveler from the US, I would have preferred the old friendly feeling to The Harbour Bar and wish it popped up in a search for restaurants on Google.

A familu friendly place and very welcoming.
A familu friendly place and very welcoming. Plenty to do, with the beach, currys amusements and shops and cafes. The Jet centre and the giants causeway was a short drive and portstewart close by. Lovely place.

Portrush is a very busy wee town.
Portrush is a very busy wee town. It is especially good for families with plenty for all ages to do. 2 lovely beaches, a fair ground and lots of large gaming places. Our favourite place is the Arcadia café.
Our hotel is situated nearer to Portrush, however, we liked the relative quietness of Portstewart.
So, Portrush is great for families and not quite so good for over 60s.
Excellent location, just a few steps away from the Ramore restaurants/bars. Beautiful modern surroundings and very tastefully decorated with lovely secluded back garden. Parking at the door was another plus.
We loved the layout of our room (room 2 on top floor) large, spacious room with splendid views over Portrush harbour, beach and the Donegal mountains in the distance. Large comfortable bed, with a fridge and tea/coffee facility. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, thankyou Karen!
Exquisite Art Deco styled hotel that’s in prime location in Portrush. The rooms are nice and large with full bathrooms plus large beds (plus A/C). Our room had a spectacular view of the ocean east of Portrush. Parking was free out front albeit likely easier to come by in the off-season. I haven’t even touched on the breakfast included in the rate, which was first class and didn’t hold back on portions.
Beautiful location with view of the sea . The hotel has lots of parking spaces, a bar which serves food and a restaurant. The hotel is only a few minutes drive into the centre of Portrush. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and it had a mini fridge with water in it which was great plus tea/coffee/hot chocolate sachets and biscuits.
Caroline is amazing! She is the best host you can get. If you are looking to stay with a local family and meet people this is the best place for you. Don't expect to find a hotel room and ready - served breakfast, but expect to like your stay so much that you won't want to explore the area but instead stay indoors with Caroline. We are already thinking how to get back soon!
Hosts so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic facilities and spotlessly clean. Felt so at home and completely relaxed. Fabulous breakfast. Views from balcony lovely and just 10 minutes walk from Portrush. Will definitely be booking again. Full marks in every aspect and much better than a lot of hotels we've stayed in. Thankyou Diane and Kieran
Kieran was a very pleasant host
The property is very close to the centre of portrush. The guesthouse was quiet and clean, which is just what we wanted.
Due to COVID-19, they hadn’t been offering breakfast. However, they were offering breakfast at the nearby Quays Hotel, which was both a surprise and a lovely breakfast.
The location was excellent, and easy street parking was available.
The apartment was of a very high standard, comfortable beds, great shower, and well equipped kitchen. Great for all ages, lift and stairs to the apartment. Even being in the centre of Portrush, we weren't disturbed by noise at all.
This was a great location with parking and a local right across the street.
We used it as a base point to tour around Northern Ireland.
The staff were engaging, friendly and simply charming.
They provided great suggestions for things to do and see.
Plus they served up a proper Irish Breakfast!
The place was a bit run down. Carpet was stained, there were dirt on the bed and the hair dryer would turn off every 15 seconds. It is impossible to dry someone's hair like that. Hotel is ocean front and the view from the hotel was beautiful. Breakfast did not have many vegetarian options.
An absolute gem. Not far from Portrush centre, this small hotel/ boarding house offered easy parking, a well- appointed room which was quiet and with a blackout blind we slept very well. The owner Jennifer was charming and very helpful and the breakfast choices and quality were superb
Although it is a B&B I think it deserves to be a mini hotel. Rooms are excellent , great size very comfortable.
Breakfast was very good with a great selection of serials, juices, fruit etc.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The B&B is in 15 minutes walking distance to Portrush.
Hotel is very quaint, (it appears to have been a church at one time). Breakfast offered was exceptional. Location was a little ways from the center of town but walkable. It was nice being able to walk across the road and take a walking path along the ocean.
Everything, the staff is very friendly, the view is amazing from the restaurant and in general, room really clean and many small details to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast is included and it's really really good and full. I recommend this hotel a lot.
Lovely couple running the Larkhill House. Very hospitable and welcoming. It is easy to find and walkable to downtown, even though the host was kind enough to drive us to the city center. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Portrush!
Came here for 2 nights on 11th July,we have been to Portrush a few times and this by far is the best hotel we have stayed in,staff are fab especially Olivia in the bistro that girl is fab and so friendly,we used the health suite olso which was perfect.
The property was well situated within easy access of the center of Portrush and has been lovingly restored and decorated. Despite building work being undertaken at the nearby railway halt, we found the property was very quiet.
Hotel was spotless, really friendly staff, newspapers, lovely breakfast and great location. Close to Portstewart and Portrush. Nice relaxing seating area in foyer with tv.
Very friendly accomodating staff, clean comfortable accommodation, near to portrush,Coleraine and portstewart, great food,we enjoyed our stay at Magherabuoy house hotel😊
A truly excellent apartment. 3 comfy bedrooms, plenty of space, good views and walking distance to Portrush amenities. Parking space right outside the front door.
