The B&B is in a quiet setting with an exceptional view of Ben Nevis from the garden (and your room window). It is very peaceful. I stayed on night with my dog (a stop over to break up a longer journey North) and was delighted to see a herd of red deer and a wild peacock (and one of three pea hens). The host has bird feeders in the garden so there are smaller birds everywhere. The B&B is very easy to find. It is sign-posted from the main road. Spean Bridge is only a few miles further along the road - well worth visiting for food, shops, and the Commando monument.
Set in Spean Bridge and only 15 km from Glen Nevis, Coire Glas Guest House offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.
Distant Hills is a modern couple-run guest house providing a good quality Bed and Breakfast service.

Everything worked as it should. Our room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast was tasty and the owner couple were really friendly. The parking lot was spacious. Short drive to Fort William.

Spean Bridge is a pretty little place with some stunning walks and scenery. The shop has everything you need for your stay and there is also a Post office. There wasn't a huge selection of places to eat or drink and some were closed when we were there but it was probably just the time of year and we ventured into Fort William which has plenty of choice to eat and drink.

Beautiful Small Village tucked away from the Hussle and bustle. Quite and Peaceful area. Mai Bus root to Fort William and surrounding area's.
Locals are so helpful and supportive, specially, i was waiting for a bus to turn up for a while when a beautiful lady turned up and asked me if i was okay as she had noticed me being waiting at bus stop quite a while.

It's a good place to explore the area.
It's a good place to explore the area. Spean Bridge itself is tiny, but has one excellent restaurant at the Old Station. There are some other places but they are only open until 4 or 5, so I did not visit those. For additional options, you'd have to take a 15-minute drive to the next town over (Fort William).
My hotel - Highland Bridge Hotel - has a pub attached that was frequented every night by the locals. So there is a place to hang out if you must.
Overall a good location to explore the Scottish countryside. Considering everywhere you have to go will take you an hour, it isn't so bad you're basically 15 minutes out of town.

We felt safe and secure in our accommodation.
We felt safe and secure in our accommodation. Felt intimidated by locals who got angry with us for not breaking the speed restrictions and we were not alone that felt this! Not much to do in the actual village itself but is a good base to venture out, the b and b we stayed in though was a pleasure to come home to - Braelea, run by Margaret. A fabulous lady with knowledge for days out. We are in restaurants recommended by Margaret.

Rosebank is owned by wonderful lady by the name of Teresa, who reminds you of your favourite aunt whom you rarely see but welcomes you with open arms. She made us feel like we'd been there before, set a lovely table with lots of breakfast options, keeps an immaculate house with very comfortable accommodations and genuinely made us feel like we were home. I would HIGHLY recommend Rosebank to anyone staying near Ft. William or Spean Bridge. I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be booking with here for our next trip

The main reason we visited Spean Bridge was to climb Ben Nevis. There were plenty of other activities around, I would recommend West Highland Outdoor Centre for a Segway tour. Highland Soap Company is worth a visit, they do great coffee too.
Gorgeous setting along the River Spean. Accommodations were perfect for our family of three—spotless, comfy, scenic location, and quiet. Having two bathrooms, a comfortable lounge/living room and dining area and well-stocked kitchen made for a perfect home base while we explored the area (mostly we hiked). It was also wonderful to have the opportunity to wash a few clothes, as we were entering the third week of our three-week holiday. Also, Rachel was a most friendly and hospitable host in every way.
Marjory and Will were outstanding hosts. The location with views of the mountains from our room as well as the huge window in the lounge was spectacular. A quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Fort William, but just a very short drive to Spean Bridge. The accommodations were spotless and the breakfast was delicious! We so enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer.
Teresa was the ultimate host! She makes the best whiskey porridge we tasted in all of Scotland. It was creamy, the perfect balance of flavors, and a great start to the day! The cheerful room decorated with shades of gold and white overlooked the gorgeous front garden and felt luxurious. After a long journey, Teresa's warm welcome and homey touches felt like an oasis for us.
Everything you need is there, kitchen, laundry, possibility to have breakfast and meals is really appreciable. The room for 3 was cosy, a shared bathroom with only one other room. Lots of places for parking, and close to many famous locations as Loch Ness and Fort Williams. They displayed many informative documents, maps and activities to do around.
Teresa was very friendly and helped with resturant recommendations, taxis, P.O.I etc. We came back from a night out in Fort William and there were a box of teacakes outside our door. The breakfast is really good (Highly recommend the whisky porridge) Oh, the view of Ben Nevis from our room was really nice too.
The host was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. While we prefer a kitchen, it was easy to prepare the breakfast and evening meal with a microwave. The food selection for the provided breakfast was simple and ample.
Clunebeg May seem remote, but it is convenient to Fort William and the train to Mallaig.
The location was stunning, loved the approach on the road with views across to Ben Nevis road. Near to Fort William, Glencoe. Nice restaurants nearby, The Old Station and Whispering Pines were lovely. There was enough space for two couples comfortably. Very, very clean.
Amazing place, amazing friendly service, food to die for and plenty of it, comfortable beds and pillows, immaculate and couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend the dinner B&B. Currently for sale and this place is a gem. The current owners will be a massive loss to the area.
Margaret was an inspiring and kind person. The house and the room were as described. It was cosy and we felt very well. The breakfast was great and gave us energy for some beautiful hikes in the area of fort williams and Glenfinnan.
The owners have tried to think of everything here, well equipped cabin with a lot of mod-cons. Very comfortable, pet friendly & welcoming. Ours was a fleeting visit but this would make a great base for exploring round Fort William.
We didn't book a table in restaurant. Staff very accommodating as we arrived later than expected. They managed to get us a table and it was well worth it. The set menu was absolutely delicious. Lovely room and very comfortable.
Everything! the owners go out of their way to make your stay perfect. There is a lovely common room with a bar for guests. The property is beautifully decorated. The property has more amenities than most hotels.
Well laid out and arranged accommodation. Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. Location in Spean Bridge was OK.
Parking was easy at the door. Security was fine. Host and hostess were chatty and helpful
Good breakfast, apartment room. The host offered transport to the Great Glen Way next morning, as the location is several km from Spean Bridge and the Great Glen Way. We really enjoyed the stay.
The beddings were clean. The place has parking facility. The place also has a restaurant where you can get order food. No complimentary breakfast in my stay.
